Elaine lives within our local community with her husband, Marty Donet, and their daughter, Astin. Her journey with Ennis Pediatrics began in 2010 when she was introduced to Dr. Brown, knowing right away, she would be Astin's pediatrician. In June 2012, Dr. Brown welcomed Elaine to her staff. She loved working with Dr. Brown on a personal level as her child's provider and now enjoys the camaraderie on a professional level. She loves being a part of Ennis Pediatrics and is blessed to be able to care for the pediatric population within her community and the surrounding areas.
Our nurse practitioner, Jamie, received her associate's degree from Brookhaven College, her Bachelor's degree in nursing from UTA and her Master's degree in nursing with a pediatric focus from Texas Tech University in Lubbock.

She joined Ennis Pediatrics in December 2018 and loves taking care of the kids in our community. She also has a special interest in adolescent mental health and learning disorders and plans to test for her pediatric mental health specialty certification in the future.
Jamie is married to John Rowland and together they have six children: two adults, Abi and Bethany, and four teens, Caleb, Morgan, Ben and Mady. They are also blessed with a new grandbaby, Miss Olive, daughter to Bethany. Also added to this family mix are their two four legged kids, Teak, a miniature dachshund and Daisy, a Vizsla, and a love bird named Sweet Pea.
On her time off, you're likely to find Jamie in her kitchen or traveling with her family. She loves to cook and explore the world with her husband and one day hopes to visit Greece with him. Our nurse practitioner, Mandy, received her Bachelor's degree in nursing from University of Texas at Arlington and her master's degree in nursing from the University of South Alabama. Mandy has spent 24 years in the nursing field with the majority of that experience in pediatrics.
She joined Ennis Pediatrics in October 2021 and completed a portion of her clinical training here at Ennis Pediatrics with Elaine, when she was a nurse practitioner student. She has a passion for child development and helping parents get the resources that they need.
She loves walking families through every phase of their child’s life. Mandy is engaged to her fiancé Shawn. She has three teen boys, two of which are twins. They also have dogs, cats, birds, goats, sheep and a donkey to keep them busy. After office hours, you are likely to find Mandy keeping up with her three boys and enjoying her little farm.
In the state of Texas, a Nurse Practitioner (NP) is required to obtain a graduate degree in advance practice nursing. They are qualified to provide a broad range of health care services without the direct supervision of a physician. Such services provided include, but not limited to, taking patient history, preforming physical exams, ordering laboratory tests and procedures, diagnosing, treating, managing diseases, writing prescriptions, coordinating referrals, and advocating disease prevention and a healthy lifestyle. NPs are regulated at two different levels. They are licensed through their state under state laws and are certified through national organizations with consistent professional practice standards across the state. They are required to uphold their own licensure by continuing education classes in order to maintain prescriptive authority and the ability to practice.
All of our providers maintain current certifications and are continually undergoing education to maintain and update their pediatric knowledge and expertise. Dr. Brown and her nurse practitioners attend one conference a year hosted by the American Academy of Pediatrics and routinely hold lunchtime conferences on various pediatric topics. Rest assured that your child is in capable and caring hands. Our providers have a passion for the care of your children!
